About

I am a licensed pharmacist with an MSc in Pharmacology from Hawler Medical University and six years in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. Since 2020 I have worked with the Kurdistan Medical Control Agency on manufacturer and product registration, import permits and dossier compliance on behalf of Warba Company.

Alongside that, I build software for regulatory work. I have completed the Machine Learning Specialization from DeepLearning.AI and Stanford University, together with full-length courses in Python, full-stack web development and data science. The KMCA AI Assistant, below, is the applied result.

Outside work, I read widely: science, history, philosophy, mathematics and computer science.

KMCA AI Assistant

Designed, built and deployed

A retrieval-based assistant for companies that submit to the Kurdistan Medical Control Agency. It answers questions about the Kurdistan Region's medicines regulations with citations to the specific guideline each answer is drawn from, and checks submission documents against the published requirements before they are filed.

Its scope is deliberately limited to the published guidelines. It has no access to the KMCA e-system and does not cover procedures that the guidelines do not document, import permit requirements in particular.
